Some celebrities have flouted state COVID-19 guidelines, thrown parties, and gone on lavish vacations during the ongoing pandemic. But Harry Styles isn’t that type, especially when it comes to his love life. Us Weekly got intel from an insider about how the single musician’s experience dating is going his year. It’s not going…because Styles is respecting social distancing guidelines and not dating, like many other single people who aren’t willing to risk COVID exposure by seeing people not in their household or pod.
“His dating life has been pretty nonexistent during lockdown because he’s been so careful to respect quarantining rules and social distancing,” a source said. “He and his roommates are quarantining together in L.A., waiting for the world to return to normal like the rest of us, though Harry has made some trips back to London for work and family purposes.”
The source added that Styles isn’t worried about putting his love life on hold. “He’s got some options in the pipeline in terms of who he’d like to date under the right circumstances, but nothing intense or formal,” the source said. “He’s in no hurry at all. It’s a genuine, go-with-the-flow attitude, although it goes without saying he certainly won’t be single in the long term.”
Styles is currently filming Don’t Worry Darling. He recently gave an interview to Variety where he addressed the negative reaction some people, particularly conservative pundit Candace Owens’ comments, had to his Vogue cover where he wore a dress. “To not wear [something] because it’s females’ clothing, you shut out a whole world of great clothes,” he said. “And I think what’s exciting about right now is you can wear what you like. It doesn’t have to be X or Y. Those lines are becoming more and more blurred.”
